Give Books, Not Roses ~ #ValentinesDayReads Giveaway (Chocolate Included!)

I'm sitting here watching the evening news (it's something I do every night because I have the life of a 70 year old) and they just listed the top 4 most asked for Valentine's Day gifts. The first being a date night the second a smartphone (really?!), and the others being the traditional chocolate and flowers. I can't get over the fact that smartphones are acceptable Valentine's Day gifts. People these days. Tsk tsk. Here's what I'd ask for. Books. I love books and finally somebody understands me. It's hard to believe that the first month of 2015 is already more than halfway over. My dad definitely knows what he's talking about when he says the older you get, the quicker the time goes by. I hope everyone is getting off to a great new start this year. Are you still holding on to your resolutions? I admit, I didn't make one. Heck, I didn't even stay up to ring in the New Year. Wow. I'm more like the old man than I realized.... I did get a new tablet, so blogging will be a lot easier. As awesome as the Amazon Kindle Fires are, they aren't the best for typing up blog posts!
