The Story:
A bet gone wrong. A small town’s meddling. And a cowboy intent on saving his ranch. Maggie Hope is an advice columnist whose background leaves her with little advice to give . . . and it’s beginning to show. When Maggie fills in at an interview with champion horse trainer Tru Monahan, the on-camera chemistry between them is undeniable. Maggie’s bosses know this is the opportunity she’s been looking for to launch her career—and their bank accounts. In order to save her column, Maggie takes Tru up on the bet that he can teach her to ride a quick-stepping cutting horse like any cowgirl, despite the fact that she has never been on a horse. And in the meantime, she can get the scoop on the man under the cowboy hat. Tru has been on the competition circuit for longer than he’d like, but he knows it’s the only way he can afford to keep the Four of Hearts Ranch that means so much to his ailing grandfather. So when his sponsors see the opportunity for Tru’s fans to get to know the star …

This Month I'm Obsessed With...

...Poldark (1975-1977). I started watching this a few days ago in preparation for the new version starring Aidan Turner and I basically got no sleep. The terrible wigs, the awful picture quality, almost had me switching off my iPad but I stuck with it and I have never been more glad!!! The acting is terrific and the story is AWESOME. I've read that it is the British Gone With the Wind and I can totally see that. ❤️ I told my best friend that this show was going to be the death of me and it has been. I am officially dead.

...taking pictures of my dogs with my iPad. They're so cute. I can't help myself. Follow me on Instagram to see more!

On This Valentine's Day, Book & TV Boyfriends For 2015

Happy Valentine's Day, dear readers. I hope you all are enjoying time spent with that special someone, be it a boyfriend or girlfriend, husband or wife, or in my case a good book. Yeah. I'm a single lady, so my only boyfriend is in whatever novel I happen to be reading or TV show I'm bingeing on.

In honor of book and TV boyfriends everywhere, I thought I'd post a few prospects -- that is new stories that appear to be promising for those of us wanting to spend a little time in fictional worlds with favorite characters. I'm always on the lookout for a fun romance or a heart-wrenching drama to pass the time, so please post new books or movies that you're looking forward to in the comments section. Here's my top 5 in no particular order.
