American Idol

Now that Anoop is gone I don't know who to root for on American Idol!!! It is hard to pick but I think I'm leaning towards Danny Gokey. I have to say that I wouldn't be sad to see Adam go...sorry but I just think he's too over the top!!! Matt is pretty good (he looks like Justin), Kris is cute, and Allison has some wild pink hair to go with her "rocker chick" voice but overall I think Danny is the man this year! Oh well we'll see how it goes, I'm usually totally wrong when it comes to "Idol" though LOL!!!! Only a few more weeks left to see if I finally get it right :-)

NFL draft

It's NFL Draft Day!!!!!Yay!!!!! Football season is almost upon us! So my team, the Pittsburgh Steelers (6 time SuperBowl Champs :-D) picked Ziggy Hood in the first round! I can't wait to see what this guy does in training camp, preseason, and of course in regular season play! Now I wonder what position they will fill with the second pick in the draft? We'll see! Can't wait 'til football season ! Check out this article about Ziggy! http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=542514

Here's the books that are "piling" up!!!! Right now I have 3 Love Inspired contemporary romances I'm reading 1. Bluegrass Hero by Allie Pleiter 2. More Than a Cowboy by Susan Hornick 3. The Cowboy Next Door by Brenda Minton (my cousin let me borrow this so I'll have to finish this first so she won't kill me)!!! I'm also reading some Chick Lit too (my fave newly discovered fiction genre): 4. Everything's Coming Up Josey by Susan May Warren 5. Shopaholic and Sister by Sophie Kinsella I'm also into the YA Vampire/SciFi-ish stuff like Stephenie Meyer (thanks Rachel for getting me hooked!!) so I'm reading a few new authors in the genre: 6. Frostbite: A Vampire Academy Novel, Book #2 by Richelle Mead (yeah I know I'm never lu...
