Back to Business @ Black 'n Gold Girl's Book Spot!

It's hard to believe that the first month of 2015 is already more than halfway over. My dad definitely knows what he's talking about when he says the older you get, the quicker the time goes by. I hope everyone is getting off to a great new start this year. Are you still holding on to your resolutions? I admit, I didn't make one. Heck, I didn't even stay up to ring in the New Year. Wow. I'm more like the old man than I realized.... I did get a new tablet, so blogging will be a lot easier. As awesome as the Amazon Kindle Fires are, they aren't the best for typing up blog posts! Hopefully, my iPad leads to more fun posts and giveaways for you fantabulous readers. ;-) Here's one of my recent "bookish" Instagram photos that I took with my tablet.

Don't forget to follow me on Instagram!

Anyway, there are some new things coming up within the next few days that I think will be of interest to my fellow bookworms. First off, there's going to be a blog tour starting in February for fans of Gothic romances that you will not want to miss. I've read the book that's featured and it is absolutely superb. I have it on good authority that there is going to be a giveaway with a bunch of sweet prizes to celebrate the book's debut too.

Harlequin, that publisher of all those mass market romances we all know and love, is also kicking off Valentine's Day with giveaways just for their fans. Check out the prizes you can win and all the deets on entering. There's a blog tour too where you can read features and reviews of each title whether you enjoy a sweet romance or something a little more spicy.

If you know of any giveaways or new books coming up, please post a link in the comments section!

Happy Reading!

  1. Yay! Welcome back to blogging, Renee. And Happy 2015.

I did stay up 'til Midnight - and beyond. It was all very nice even though we rang in the New Year at home. :)

    1. LOL. I can tell I'm getting older, staying up late to party no longer appeals to me.
