The Story:

My Thoughts:
Oh, Sweetness, you are the cutest thing! If there's one author whose books I will read simply for the fact that she writes the cutest four-legged critters into her stories, it is Dana Mentink. I fell in love with Tippy in Sit Stay Love and am now head over paws for Sweetness of Fetching Sweetness!


Sweetness's story is just as endearing as Tippy's tale (errrr...tail? ;-P) and the romance between his human friends is equally so. Stephanie Pink and Rhett Hastings never could have guessed that a canine would play such an huge role in God's plans for their lives. As Sweetness streaks across the first few pages of this book, he leaves chaos and hope in his wake.  Stephanie and Rhett discover that one big dog will leave lasting pawprints on their hearts.

Dana's dog stories are just the ticket to cheer a reader on a rainy, summer day. I devoured this book in a matter of a couple hours and will certainly be adding it to my keeper shelf. If you are a fan of Christian fiction and just happen to be a dog lover too, you should definitely look for these books at your library or book store.
