Teaser Tuesday!

MizB @ Should Be Reading hosts Teaser Tuesday every week at her blog! This gives everyone the opportunity to share a few lines from a new book they're reading or one of their old favorites.

Here are the rules for Teaser Tuesday!
1. Grab your current read.
2. Let the book fall open to a random page.
3. Share two teaser sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 & 12.
4. Share the title of the book that the “teaser” comes from, so people can find the book if they like the teaser.
5. PLEASE avoid spoilers!!!!!

This week I chose a book I received from a swap game on PBS, The Outlaw's Bride by Lori Copeland.

The Outlaw's Bride (Book 1, The Western Sky Series)
by Lori Copeland
Copyright 1999 (reprinted 2009)
Harvest House Publishers
255 pages
ISBN: 978-0-7369-2751-2

Teaser from page 93:
"Early the following morning Ragan announced she was out of coffee, so after breakfast Johnny walked her to the mercantile. When they parted at the door, she smiled. 'Don't spend all day in there talking.'

'Since when did you get to be so bossy?'

Winking, he tugged one of the ribbons on her bonnet and walked away grinning."

Be sure to visit MizB!

  1. Sounds like a fun story. How are you enjoying it? Have you read the Christmas Lamp from Copeland too?

  2. Fun! You "chose" a good teaser, which doesn't reveal too much but just gives us a peek inside the book. : )

  3. This sounds very cute. Hope you're enjoying it!

If you want, you can check out my teaser here.

  5. I got this book on PBS, too, and can't wait to read it! I've got some review books that need to be read first though. :( I hope I finish them in time!

Thanks for the great teaser. :p
