Recipe for a Quick Summer Cool Down: Easy Peach Smoothies!
I know this is mainly a book blog but I also like to share some of my favorite things and peach smoothies are definitely one of my favorite things! This is quick and easy and a really inexpensive treat that I'm sure everyone will love!
Ingredients:
One 6 or 8oz cup of peach flavored yogurt
2 cups of ice
2-3 tablespoons of sugar
1 small can of peaches in syrup
Directions:
Place half of the ice in a blender.
Add in the yogurt.
Pour in the peaches and half of the syrup. If you use all of the syrup the smoothie will be watery.
Add the sugar.
Add the remainder of the ice cubes.
Blend until smooth and pour in glasses and enjoy immediately!
***Makes about three 10 oz. servings.
I chose to garnish my smoothie with a peach slice :-)
Yummmm...thats looks sooooo good. And I just started a diet,too. I'm not sure now, how long I'll be able to stick to it, though.LOL;)
