Watch Broadchurch, Episode One Before the US TV Premiere!

BBC's next series, Broadchurch, starring David Tennant and Olivia Colman premieres this weekend and promises to be a good one. Thanks to BBC America, US residents can check out the first episode free for a limited time on their website before it premieres on TV. I'm definitely going to be watching since I have a thing for David Tennant (two words -- The Doctor) and lately, mysteries! I hope you all enjoy!

Here's a little about the series from the BBC America site...

BBC AMERICA’s “Broadchurch,” which earned critical acclaim, including BAFTA nods, and broken records on Twitter in the UK, centers on the investigation into the murder of a young boy in a British seaside town.

Leading the investigation are two detectives – the strong yet compassionate local Detective Sergeant, Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman), and the by-the-book Detective Inspector Alec Hardy (David Tennant), Ellie’s newly appointed boss.

By circumstance they are partnered to solve the murder, keeping the newspapers from derailing the investigation and trying to prevent the crime from impacting tourism at the beach where the boy was murdered.

The cast also includes Jodie Whittaker as Beth, Andrew Buchan as Mark, Will Mellor playing Stephen Turner and sees Arthur Darvill as the town priest Paul Coates. The series is created and written by Chris Chibnall and executive produced by Chibnall and Jane Featherstone.

Broadchurch airs Wednesday, August 7 at 10:00pm ET/PT as part of Dramaville.

    Rory and the Doctor are in this series!!! I am definitely going to have to watch. And now, girlfriend, I'll have you know your pinterest boards got me started on Sherlock too!! I'm experiencing my own British invasion!

      YAY!!!! You won't regret watching Sherlock! If you enjoy it at least you won't have to wait 30,000 years for series 3 like the rest of the fandom LOL! No official word yet on series 3 premiere but SOON!
