Books to Read Again in 2010!

I've read a ton of books this year, last night after posting my review for A Bride of Honor, I could not believe my eyes when I saw out of the corner of my eye on my labels list that I had read and reviewed 75 books and I didn't even start blogging until March! Needless to say I've read a lot of great books so for me to choose 10 of my very favorite books has been a complicated task indeed! So without further ado here's my list of top ten books (in no particular order) I will read again in 2010! It's a big mix and match list with some Christian fiction, some YA fiction and some paranormal stuff!

Shhhhhhhh don't tell, but I cheated a bit and 7 out of 10 of my "books" are series'!

Critical Care- by Candace Calvert
Love Finds You in Snowball, Arkansas- By Sandra D. Bricker
The Vampire Diaries series- by L. J. Smith
Immortality Bites series- by Michelle Rowen
Daughters of Boston series-by Julie Lessman
The Luxe series- by Anna Godbersen
Charles Towne Belles series- by MaryLu Tyndall
The Morning Gift- by Eva Ibbotson
Brides of Bonneterre (Books 1 &2)- by Kaye Dacus
The Nantucket Love Story series- by Denise Hunter

  1. Oh, Renee, I'm with you, honey -- Candace Calvert's Critical Care was WONDERFUL, as are ALL of MaryLu Tyndall's books -- great reads, all!

And thank you, too, for including my series in your top ten -- I am blessed, not only by your constant support, but your wonderful friendship as well.

Here's to the best new year yet ...

    Hugs,
    Julie

I can't wait for Candace's, Disaster Status and MaryLu's, The Raven Saint! MaryLu's books are all awesome, who can resist Pirates LOL!

I hope you have a wonderful New Year too...can't wait for your next book! ;-)

  4. Looks like it was a good year for books! Unfortunately, I've had little opportunity for reading. Of your list, the only ones I've read are MaryLu's books--fantastic, of course! I have the third book, THE RAVEN SAINT, sitting at home waiting for me to finish the book I'm currently working on. It'll be my reward for meeting deadline.

    Happy New Year!

  5. Hi Suko! Thank you for always coming by to visit me! Happy 2010 to you too!

Hi Kaye! It WAS a good year for books and I've acquired way more than I can read, including Ransome's Honor! I'm sure I'll get to it soon. LOL, I love my regency romance.

I haven't read The Raven Saint yet either but it is on my list to be one of the first I read in 2010...besides A Case for Love of course ;-)

    XOXO~ Renee

  8. What a list! I'm a HUGE fan of Julie Lessman and MaryLu Tyndall. I also thought the first two of Kaye's books were really terrific. I can't wait to read the last. Critical Care is on my wish list ever since I read an article from Candace Calvert on The Seekers.

I'm impressed but not surprised. You have excellent taste. :o)

  9. Excellent choices, Renee! I knew they would be. :)

WOW! You've had lots of great folks dropping by. I'm sorry I'm so late coming over. It's really hard for me to find time to read/blog since DH has been on vacation for the last couple of weeks...I'm trying to spend time with him while I can. He goes back to work on Monday though.

    Happy 2010 to everyone! {{hugs}}

  10. Have to agree with you 100% on Julie's books...I read all three of them this year in a flash, and no way will anyone ever convince me to take them off my keeper shelf!

I loved Kaye Dacus's first book, Stand-in Groom, and it'll probably be on my 2009 faves list...we shall see. :o) Can't wait to read books 2 and 3.
