Historical Fiction Reading Challenge 2010!


I don't think this is really going to be a challenge for me considering that historical fiction is pretty much all that I read but I'm signing up anyways and I'm encouraging you to do so also! I'm definitely going for the "Obsessed" goal of 20 historical fiction books in one year...do you think I'll make it? :-P Check out the Royal Reviews Blog for more details and to sign up! Challenge Guidelines:
1. Anyone can join. You don't need a blog to participate.
--Non-Bloggers: Include your information in the comment section @ Royal Reviews

2. There are four levels:

-- Curious – Read 3 Historical Fiction novels.

-- Fascinated – Read 6 Historical Fiction novels.

-- Addicted – Read 12 Historical Fiction novels.

-- Obsessed – Read 20 Historical Fiction novels.

3. Any book format counts.

4. You can list your books in advance or just put them in a wrap up post. If you list them, feel free to change them as the mood takes you.

5. Challenge begins January 1st through December, 2010. Only books started on January 1st count towards this challenge.

    Girl...you can do this Challenge with your hands tied behind your back and your eyes closed (yeah...you're THAT good!)!!! You live to read Historical Fiction! LOL

    Hahahaha thanks Lori...I don't know about the eyes closed part unless I was reading a book in Braille or listening to an audiobook! :-P

    Good luck with the challenge! Usually if I sign up for a challenge that's the kiss of death for meeting my goal...it's frustrating. ;-)

    Judging by the quantity of books you seem to read, you should have no problem meeting the goal. This sounds like a good idea. I too love historical fiction, although I also love fantasy and suspense/mystery, so I think I'll go on over to Royal Reviews myself. I'd set 10 as a goal for myself, so I guess I'm closer to Addicted.

    I enjoy coming to your blog. You always introduce me to neat ideas.
