New Poll + Giveaway!

This summer it seems as if I've been busier than ever and because of that I haven't had a whole lot of time to blog. I have gained a few new followers and for that I am very grateful. I love ALL you guys, you're the reason I blog. That said I want to make Black 'n Gold Girl's Book Spot bigger and better. I'm planning to blog more as the summer winds down and want to know how I can improve my blog and make it more fun. If you would be so kind as to take my poll on the left sidebar of this blog that would be a HUGE help to me. I have the poll set so you can vote for more than one item if you think this site needs improvement in multiple areas.

Just an FYI this September is going to be a pretty exciting month here if you like Christian fiction. I'm celebrating my birthday a bit differently than last year and all I can say is it's going to be FUN!!!!

To thank you for your input I'm giving away a slightly used copy of Restless in Carolina by Tamara Leigh. All you need to do is vote in the poll and let me know you did so with a comment and leave an email so I can contact you if you win! US residents only. Winner drawn next Saturday, August 13, 2011, using random.org.

  1. I voted in the poll! :) Even though I know polls are supposed to be anonymous, I just wanted to let you know that I voted for "New Design" and "Nothing, it's fine as it is," because honestly, your blog is wonderful just the way it is, but if you wanted to change up the design, that could be fun, too! ;)

I'd love a chance to win Restless in Carolina! Thank you! :)

  6. WOW! Thanks everyone for the votes, I really appreciate it. I see that so far more reviews and more giveaways are the top 2 vote-getters. I guess I'll have to start reviewing every book I read. Do you guys think that's a good idea? Should I review the paranormals and general market romance that I read? Thanks again guys!

    XOXO~ Renee

  7. I think you're doing a perfect job, and don't need to change a thing! I know how much "work" it is to juggle reading/reviewing and blogging, plus, normal day-to-day life, so I voted that it's fine the way it is. :) You already review multiple genres, so that adds variety. However, it's YOUR blog, so you do whatever makes YOU happy...if I know you as well as I think...that will be keeping your bloggers happy...right? LOL

Whatever you decide will be wonderful, because you do a great job. *hugs*

Thank you for a chance to win :)
