Synopsis: Lucy Binoche is almost thirty...and still single. Desperate to find love before life passes her by she agrees to go on church singles retreat to Snowball, Arkansas, with her best friend Matt "Mattie" Frazier. To get the attention of the hunky and outdoorsy, Justin, Lucy tries to be something she's not. Will Lucy realize that true love is right under her nose? Will she learn to look for someone who'll love her just as she is, no pretending?

My Review: I really enjoy this Love Finds You series from Summerside Press. Love Finds You in Snowball, Nebraska, is my favorite one to date. I received it today in the mail and I finished it today! The story of Lucy and her quest for romance on a wilderness trip in rural Arkansas is so cute. It's funny and reminded me more of a chick lit than strictly romance. Lucy learns to accept that she is a Louis Vuitton chick not a Mossy Oak girl. This very much reminds me of the movie 13 Going on 30 so if you enjoyed that you will definitely like this! I can't wait to read Sandra Bricker's next book, Love Finds You in Holiday, Florida, due out in November!

  4. Wow.

Someone sent me a link to your site and said I should check it out, and I think I owe them a big thank-you!

I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed Snowball! I had a lot of fun writing that one, and kind of fell in love with Matt in the process. Thanks so much for the lovely review.

The next one (Love Finds You in Holiday, Florida) is going to be a bit different. The main characters are older (in their 50s), and it's set in a quirky locale with lots of offbeat characters. I hope you enjoy it, and if you're up for it I'd be happy to do a giveaway to your readers.

Thank you so much for the mention, and I'm so happy that LOVE FOUND YOU in Snowball.

    Blessings,
    Sandie Bricker

  9. I first saw Love Finds You In Charm, Ohio and put that on my WL not knowing it was one in a series. I then had to add another WL just for all the LFY books.

P.S. I don't live very far from Sandra Bricker but have never met her!! Hopefully she'll have a book signing nearby soon.
