You. Guys. SDCC, or San Diego Comic-Con for those of you not as familiar with geek speak, is THE place to be if you love movies, TV, comics, or pop culture of almost any kind. Unfortunately, I have never had the opportunity to attend, but I always follow the goings on pretty closely online. There are always a plethora of teasers, character reveals, and of course exclusive movie trailer releases. This year's SDCC guests have not disappointed. I gotta say I thought superhero films were getting a liiiittle played out, but boy was I wrong. The trailer for Wonder Woman just blew me away and the second official Doctor Strange trailer is trippy as all get out. And the tagline for that one..."The impossibilities are endless". Whoa. Superheroes are clearly here to stay and both films are bound to be blockbusters or I'll eat my hat! Is there anything from SDCC that you want to discuss? What films are you most excited to see? It's Comic Con week, so you know there are going to be a few great reveals when it comes to our favorite movies and TV. One of my most favorite series' would be Doctor Who and the new trailer looks fantastic. Even though Clara REALLY annoyed me in series 8, I'm holding out hope that she is redeemed in series 9. It looks like some old favorites will return as well as new favorite, Missy! Look for Doctor Who in September! Happy Viewing! 

... Poldark (1975-1977) . I started watching this a few days ago in preparation for the new version starring Aidan Turner and I basically got no sleep. The terrible wigs, the awful picture quality, almost had me switching off my iPad but I stuck with it and I have never been more glad!!! The acting is terrific and the story is AWESOME. I've read that it is the British Gone With the Wind and I can totally see that. ❤️ I told my best friend that this show was going to be the death of me and it has been. Happy Valentine's Day, dear readers. I hope you all are enjoying time spent with that special someone, be it a boyfriend or girlfriend, husband or wife, or in my case a good book. Yeah. I'm a single lady, so my only boyfriend is in whatever novel I happen to be reading or TV show I'm bingeing on. These days I think it's becoming more acceptable to be a geek than ever before. I personally LOVE that more companies are catering to not just the dudes anymore, but names like Her Universe and Think Geek are marketing towards the ladies. Her Universe is one of my all-time favorite companies. Not only are their clothes specifically geared towards the female figure, but they offer clothing for all shapes and sizes anywhere from extra small to 3X. Did I mention a lot of their stuff is made right in the US? I know, right?! Super cool! I own a few of their pieces, including the tank top pictured above. It's part of their new Doctor Who collection and I already know it's going to be a wardrobe staple. I really don't care that it's fall and there's a bite ...

Doctor Who: Tales of Trenzalore Copyright 2014 BBC Books ISBN: 9781849908443 ~ My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars ~ If you're like me it has been difficult to wait for the season 8 Doctor Who premiere (here in almost a week!!!!). Thankfully, the folks at BBC Books have taken pity on us and released some great new books this summer to ease the pain. Tales of Trenzalore is the perfect way to pass the time if you have run out of ideas of Who related things or don't have your own TARDIS to pop ahead to the August 23rd premiere.

Can you tell I love Doctor Who ? Yeah... it's pretty bad when you get excited over 15 seconds of video, but I won't apologize for being a geek.  Enjoy the trailer if you haven't already done so, ladies and gents! Happy Friday!

This show. I love it. Isn't that the cutest commercial? It's been playing every year on TV ever since I can remember and I always enjoy seeing it. That said, I hope you all enjoy a wonderful and safe holiday season! Earlier this week we got word that the 50th anniversary Doctor Who special, "The Day of the Doctor", would air simultaneously around the world on November 23 @ 2:50PM EST, and that a trailer for the special would follow today! For those of us fortunate enough to get an early glimpse of the mini-trailer when it leaked on a BBC site late last night only to be quickly removed, it was a bit difficult to get to sleep! I know, crazy right? but if you're a Whovian you probably get it.  For those who may not have seen it, the BBC posted a full-length trailer for all to see this afternoon! Check out the trailer below and be sure to clear your schedules so you don't miss a second of what looks like an amazing episode!

Oh. Em. Gee. We finally get a premiere date after waiting 550,000 years! Mark your calendars for January 19, 2014 @10pm -- Sherlock , Series 3 premieres on PBS. Can you tell I'm freakin' excited. My Day = MADE and I hope yours is too! :-D

As you probably already know, I'm a huge fan of all things Masterpiece , especially the "Classic" dramas. Earlier this month, The Paradise , a drama set in a 19th century shop of the same name run by the enigmatic Mr. John Moray, began on Masterpiece . I have to say what I've seen so far has been excellent.
