Harlequin Love Inspired Author Erica Vetsch Talks Story Inspiration

Image
Renee here! As you may know I love dogs (I have two!), I also love to read romance. Any time someone writes a love story with a fantastic hero and heroine, I'm on board. When they include a precocious dog among the cast of characters, I'm done for! Author Erica Vetsch has penned a story for the Harlequin Love Inspired Historical line that includes all of the above and then some! Erica has graciously agreed to discuss her novel and the inspiration behind the story and that great cover below!  *******      Thank you, Renee, for hosting me here on your wonderful blog. I am honored! His Prairie Sweetheart – The inspiration behind the story. I. Am. A. History.  Geek. Anyone who knows  me,  knows I love, love, love history. Coco and Toby ~ Warmer Days Will Return Soon!

Image
Sir Toby  If you know me at all you know I love summer. I can't stand to be cold and I can't stand to wear layers of clothing. I like to lather up with sunscreen and curl up on the back deck reading or running around the yard throwing sticks for my two fur babies to catch. For fall, it's a pretty decent day in spite of all the rain. 70 degrees is pretty great for a late October day. Since it's probably the last decently warm day of the month, I thought it would be fun to share a few photos of my collies, Coco and Toby, to remind us all that it will be warm again soon. Soon.

Luv & Emma's Dry Pets Plus ~ Muddy Paws, Be Gone!

Image
Coco and her Dry Pets Plus! Any family with pets knows that it's a struggle to keep your furry family clean and dry - especially when the weather is dreary. Snow or rain, can make for some messy situations. After every outdoor adventure or potty break, paws big or small need a good cleaning. My family has always used an old bath towel to take care of the muddy situation that are Coco's and Toby's (two rough collies) paws in the mucky spring and summer and snowy winter months.

This Month I'm Obsessed With...

... Poldark (1975-1977) . I started watching this a few days ago in preparation for the new version starring Aidan Turner and I basically got no sleep. The terrible wigs, the awful picture quality, almost had me switching off my iPad but I stuck with it and I have never been more glad!!! The acting is terrific and the story is AWESOME. I've read that it is the British Gone With the Wind and I can totally see that. ❤️ I told my best friend that this show was going to be the death of me and it has been. I am officially dead. ...taking pictures of my dogs with my iPad. They're so cute. I can't help myself. Follow me on Instagram to see more!
