Recipe: Yummy Dessert Pizza!
A few days ago for my mother's birthday I made a delicious fruit pizza. Due to the response I got on Facebook when I posted a photo of my yummy creation I decided to post the recipe here so everyone can enjoy this different take on the classic pizza pie. It's fun and easy to make. Ingredients: ~ 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese (softened) ~ 1/4 c. sugar ~ 1 package 16.5 -18oz. refrigerated sugar cookie dough ~ Fresh fruit of your choice (I used 1 lb. strawberries and about 1/4 c. of blueberries and 1 sliced kiwi) Spread the cookie dough in the bottom of an ungreased 12 to 14in. pizza pan. Bake as directed on cookie dough packaging. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature. Blend cream cheese and sugar in medium sized bowl. Spread on cooled cookie dough. Top pizza with your cleaned and sliced fruit, refrigerate and enjoy!
