My Blogaversary Giveaway!

WOW! I am sooo excited to be kicking off my One Year Blogaversary Celebration this week! It's going to be tons of fun! It just so happens that my blogaversary nearly coincides with my 100th book review which I posted last week! Originally I was going to give away a brand new hardcover copy of The Yellow House by Patricia Falvey to celebrate my One Year of Blogging but since I've reached that special 100th book review, I've decided to add an "extra."

That extra is...

Beguiled by Deeanne Gist and J. Mark Bertrand (my review)!!!!!!

So if you would like to be entered to win both The Yellow House and Beguiled all you have to do is...

~Leave a comment telling me why you like birthdays, anniversaries, or any other kind of special celebration!
~You MUST leave an email address in your comment so I can contact you for your mailing address if you win!
~U.S. residents only please!
~Contest open until March 21, 2010 at 11:59PM EST.
~One winner will be chosen, their name posted on this blog, and they will be notified by email on March 22, 2010 and will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be selected.

Good Luck!

The mail reason I love celebrating birthdays because babies are a gift from God, and they deserve be celebrated.

As far as anniversaries etc., a year of success for anything, especially marriage, is a wonderful accomplishment and should be celebrated.

  5. Happy Blogaversary! Way to go! Congratulations! Thank you for a great giveaway!

I love to celebrate birthdays because I think everyone should be made to feel that they are special. A cake, a card, a little gift or two, even a casual party, is not really much trouble. The smile makes it all worthwhile : )

  19. I love birthday and anniversaries as they are special days to be celebrated special. Last year was a big one for my hubby and our life group met every other Tuesday night and his birthday was a Tuesday (not the one that we were going to meet on). Well, asked the group leader if we could make it that night. That worked and we had it at the club house as a pot luck and surprised him with birthday cake. So much fun!

    Great giveaway! Please enter me!

  25. Birthdays are great! Cake is a given, but I love throwing birthday parties for others! It's fun to do themes or whatever. I just like making it special for people who are important to me and seeing the joy they get...especially if it's a surprise party! Those are the best!

  26. Hi! I love birthdays, anniversarys and any celebration. I love to celebrate life and any special moments or joy for people. Mostly I love buying people gifts. For me, I rather do that for a person than have them get me a gift. You know, just giving someone something thoughtful. Plus who don't love food and music. I know I do :) Hey, maybe a little too much :)

I like birthdays and anniversary's cause that's the time of year hubby & I focus on just ourselves, without kids, and go to dinner and a movie. Hubby actually goes to a chick flic with me and loves it. We went to see `Dear John` for his birthday. It was so cool!

  31. I love to celebrate, especially the milestone bd's and anniversaries. The best is a surprise party. When hubby turned 40, I was going to school. We had a birthday cake for supper. I baked another for later that night when I got home from school. I had invited friends over to celebrate. My son and I let him answer the doorbell. Was he ever shocked!

  34. Firstly, my husband has two Mustangs 1965 and 1966. His twin brother is a Steelers fan. I feel like you're some lost relative... :O)

Planning my kids birthdays is always fun. Having that adrenaline rush of fun and planning and then pulling it off and then collapsing after knowing everyone had a great time is worth it.

  37. I think it makes a lot more exciting when we have something to look forward to. I have to say that I'm not so happy to see the birthdays rolling around now that I'm 55. Of course it is better for them to roll around than to not roll around. LOL
